Patia Davis Slip Decorating Workshop

Patia will be sharing the secrets of her vocabulary of alluring and lively mark-making in slip-decorated earthenware, including her tin-can trailing methods.

Pleasure in English slipware runs deep in our culture; these lively, robust, warmly decorated pots are so relatable too, and continue to provide us with inspiration today.

Patia has kindly offered to set up a workstation for members to try the tin-can and trailer method as well. There will also be a slideshow of her work and time for a Q&A.

During this event a cake and a cuppa will be provided.

The gallery will be open, for members to visit after Patia's demonstration.

The demo space is large enough to accommodate up to 15-20 members.
