In this online workshop, Sharon will share her story into clay and the importance of storytelling using figures and faces. Sharon will share her ideas of gathering inspiration to inform clay figures.

Sharon will share her making techniques, which uses the slab building method to make human clay busts as well as her ethos and approach to glazing and surface decoration.

The making process is a fast and simple way of building up the human form and face without the need of an armature or using the 'hollowing out' method. As this is a live, online workshop, there will be plenty of room for questions throughout the session.
