Simon Hulbert

Having studied ceramics at degree and postgraduate level Simon has been a professional Potter and teacher for more than thirty years. He is a fellow of the CPA ( Craft Potters Association ) and member of SWP ( South Wales Potters ).

Simon ran Brook Street pottery and gallery in Hay-on-Wye for over twenty years.Following a series of study trips and residences in Jingdezhen China Simon has now downsized his practice to focus on small-scale porcelain ceramics. The bottles cups, beakers and jars are all hand thrown, turned and glazed with multiple high fired glazes making each piece both functional and unique.

He has a new studio at his home in Dolau near Presteigne mid-Wales.
