Jane Boswell

Living in Pembrokeshire, Jane’s ceramic bowls and dishes are inspired by the Sea. She uses a semi-porcelain clay that has a very white body when fired. She bubble glazes her pieces using turquoise, amethyst, green and blue under-glazes, to reflect the rock pools and  waves breaking on the shore.

She then adds a touch of preciousness with either gold or silver leaf. Recently Jane has been developing a range of work in stoneware.

Jane has exhibited and sold her work throughout South and West Wales and is currently a member of The Pembrokeshire Craft Makers as well as South Wales Potters.
